This Privacy Policy explains how Nutriride ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you visit nutriride.com (the "Site") or buy from us. It applies to all visitors and customers in India and elsewhere.

We are the data fiduciary in respect of the personal data described in this policy.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us. Name, billing and delivery address, email address, telephone number, order contents and order history, and any information you include when you contact us or write a product review.

Information collected automatically. When you browse the Site we receive your IP address, device and browser type, operating system, referring pages, the pages you view and the time spent on them, and information from cookies and similar technologies.

Payment information. Card, UPI and netbanking details are collected and processed directly by our payment gateway. We do not receive or store full card numbers, UPI PINs or netbanking credentials.

Information we do not seek. We do not knowingly collect health records, biometric data, or any special category data. Please do not send us medical records or prescriptions.

3. How we use your information

  • To accept, process, pack, ship and deliver your order, and to handle returns and refunds.
  • To communicate with you about an order, including dispatch and delivery updates.
  • To respond to your enquiries and provide customer support.
  • To process payments and to detect, investigate and prevent fraud or misuse of the Site.
  • To operate, maintain, secure and improve the Site.
  • To send marketing communications where you have asked to receive them, and to show you relevant advertising.
  • To comply with applicable law, including tax and accounting obligations.

4. Legal basis for processing

We process personal data on the basis of your consent, the performance of our contract with you when you place an order, compliance with our legal obligations, and our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Site and preventing fraud. Where we rely on consent you may withdraw it at any time, which does not affect processing carried out before withdrawal.

5. Who we share your information with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers we need in order to run the store, and only to the extent each requires:

  • Shopify Inc. — our e-commerce platform, which hosts the Site and stores order and customer records.
  • Razorpay — payment processing, including Magic Checkout.
  • Pickrr / Fastrr — checkout acceleration, estimated delivery dates and logistics.
  • Courier and delivery partners — to deliver your order and to collect payment on cash-on-delivery orders.
  • Judge.me — product reviews, including review invitations sent after a purchase.
  • Google — Google Analytics for Site analytics, and Google Ads for advertising and remarketing.

We may also disclose personal information where we are required to do so by law, by a court, or by a government or regulatory authority, or where disclosure is necessary to protect our rights or to investigate fraud.

6. Cookies and tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for the Site to function — to keep your cart, keep you signed in, and keep the store secure — and analytics and advertising cookies that help us understand how the Site is used and show relevant advertising. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the Site may not work correctly if you block essential cookies.

You can opt out of Google Analytics at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, and manage advertising personalisation in your Google account settings. Our Site does not respond to Do Not Track signals, as no common standard for them has been adopted.

7. Advertising

We use Google Ads to show advertisements for our products on other websites and in Google services, including to people who have previously visited the Site. This is based on cookies and similar identifiers rather than on any list of customers we upload.

8. International transfers

Some of our service providers, including Shopify and Google, store and process data on servers outside India. Where personal data is transferred outside India we take reasonable steps to ensure it remains subject to appropriate safeguards and is handled in line with this policy.

9. How long we keep your information

We retain order records for as long as needed to fulfil the order and then for the period required by applicable tax, accounting and consumer protection law. Account and marketing records are retained until you ask us to delete them or withdraw consent. Support correspondence is retained for a reasonable period after the matter is resolved.

10. Security

The Site is served over encrypted connections and payment data is handled by our payment gateway under its own security controls. We restrict access to personal data to those who need it to do their work. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Your rights

Subject to applicable law you may ask us to confirm what personal data we hold about you and to provide a copy of it; correct or complete inaccurate data; erase data we no longer need; withdraw consent; and nominate another person to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity. To exercise any of these rights write to us at the address or email in section 1. We may ask you to verify your identity before we act.

12. Children

The Site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

We will acknowledge your complaint within 48 hours of receipt and aim to resolve it within 30 days.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always published on the Site, and the date below shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be notified on the Site.
